Playing with Fire is an upcoming American Comedy film directed by Andy Fickman and written by an Ewen, Matt Lieberman. "Playing with Fire" John Cena continues to present projects to consolidate his career as an actor, but this time it will cost the fighter to conquer even his most loyal fans with the proposal of Playing with Fire. As you can see in the new trailer for the movie revealed Wednesday by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Cena's upcoming family comedy plays a firefighter who must temporarily adopt a group of children for reasons that are not explained. Something that will launch a plot that already seems known: the firefighter tries to establish rules for children, they disobey, both sides fight and reconcile, the firefighter learns to be happy and to love children, while they learn to respect.
But what looks bad with Playing with Fire is not only its well-known plot, but its execution also leaves much to be desired. As you can see in the 2 minutes of the trailer, the jokes feel as if they were taken from those movies from the mid-2000s that also aimed, without major arguments, at a family audience. Thus, although this is a bet for children, everything indicates that Cena could not move his career away from what Dwayne ‘La Roca’ Johnson once did with films like Fairy by accident and Training Dad.
Principal photography commenced on January 15, 2018 in California, United States and concluded on March 20, 2019. The film is set for release on November 8, 2019.
